Privacy & Security

As tweetStory data is transferred over regular web protocols, it cannot be guaranteed to be safe, as it is susceptible to the same risks associated with email, and regular web interaction. tweetStory has integrated acceptable web standards approaches to security and data storage, however, standard web protocols allow for unforeseen security breaches.

1. We take your privacy very seriously. We will not disclose any of your information to any third party except where required to by law.
2. We may email you from time to time in order to let you know about feature enhancements, planned maintenance. If you do not wish to receive these updates, please indicate your preference when you create your account.
3. On certain areas of our website, we use analytics software to understand user behavior, software errors, and general uptime of the service.

Account terms

Sentiment Accuracy

tweetStory sentiment analysis is an automated process by which we collect data ("tweets") from twitter and process it through our analytical software. Although we employ a sophisticated approach to automated analysis, there is always the possibility that our analysis rating of tweets is wrong. Therefore, tweetStory provides no guarantee that our automated analysis will provide 100% accurate results.

Service Availability ("Uptime")

As tweetStory is a service which collects data and authenticates users through the twitter Inc API, tweetStory is liable to downtime as a result of loss of performance on twitter.com, along with other issues associated with using an API such as connectivity, rate-limiting, and maintenance. tweetStory cannot guarantee uptime.
